Ricardo Costa

Ricardo Costa is the Director of Product Intelligence and Regulation at Matrix Energia, with over 25 years of experience in the energy sector. His career began in 1998 at Algrapha, a company dedicated to industrial and corporate engineering projects, where he played a key role in infrastructure developments. Over the years, Ricardo has become a significant figure in the Brazilian energy market, especially in renewable energy and energy commercialization.

He founded GDSolar Holding in 2015, leading the company to become a pioneer in solar energy generation through photovoltaic plants, now a leading entity in Brazil’s structured solar energy market. Prior to this, Ricardo was a founding partner at Service Energy, one of Brazil’s first energy traders, where he specialized in strategic planning and contract negotiations with major clients like Telefónica, Oi, Claro, and CMPC.
