President Eternum Energy

Marcelo is President of Eternum Energy in Argentina, where he develops power solutions for datacenters and mining operations.

Previously, as VP of Strategic Growth at Fluence — the largest battery manufacturer in the Americas — he worked directly with all major tech giants on how energy storage can optimize power solutions for hyperscale datacenters.

Prior to Fluence, Marcelo led late-stage development and construction of utility-scale solar projects at Cypress Creek Renewables in the PJM market and served on the company’s Technology and Innovation Council, focused on commercializing energy storage. He began his career developing gas-fired power plants at AES and later helped build Silver Ridge Power (formerly AES Solar) into a leading global utility-scale solar developer across the US, Europe, and Latin America.

He holds a BS from Universidad Católica Argentina, a Master’s in Public Policy from the University of Bath, and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
